Product Overview
The landmark Iwamura Castle was built during the Kamakura period (1185). From atop the castle, you can enjoy a view of the lower part of the city and surrounding mountains. The castle is renowned fo being the only one to have been ruled by a woman, Otsuya no Kata, described as possessing “unmatched beauty,” during the Sengoku period (1571). For this reason, the brand that was created for the celebration of the castle's 800th anniversary was named Onna jôshu (Lady of the Castle). The label shows a portrait of Otsuya no Kata. Aside from Onna jôshu, the brewery offers the product lines Maboroshi no shiro and Ena no homare.
